Usernames and Astrology Businesses
I started my Astrology business initially as Tiresias Divination. This was a joke, based on how similar I am to the mythological figure Tiresias.
Tiresias was a crazy, homeless, blind dude who no one took seriously because he was crazy, homeless and blind — but the only other prophets who had as spotless of a record within Greek Mythology were the Oracle at Delphi and the Oracle Cassandra. He also was a dude, who once spent ten years of his life as a chick, and was also a snake at one point, but we don’t really talk about that.
I’m a crazy, blind chick who no one takes seriously IRL because I’m crazy. I’ve bleached my hair so many times I’m pretty sure it would actually cry if I used a hair dryer on it. I don’t fully understand gender as a concept, for lots of reasons that I don’t want to speculate about right now. I’m pretty sure I was a cat in a previous life.
That being said: I’ve also studied Astrology, and Divination in general, for a really long time. I’m an accomplished poet, writer, Numerologist, Tarot reader, and Astrologer. People may have beef with some of the things I say (and I don’t care about their opinions honestly), but those who actually pay attention to my writing are good at seeing the years of work that went into it.
